    Bio-Rad is seeking an outstanding Senior Training / Facilitation Specialist, Global Talent Development.

     

    The Global Talent Development team at Bio-Rad is responsible for designing and implementing programs which ensure our talent is well positioned to meet our Company goals. Examples of our programs include global onboarding, management and employee development and ongoing career development.  This key position will support the delivery of these programs. The success of this role depends on excellent facilitation skills, passion for training others and extensive experience and expertise in learning and development. Our training programs must be engaging, interactive and insightful and always with the learner experience in mind. 

    Responsibilities

    • Plays a lead role in the facilitation of Bio-Rad’s management and employee development programs across our US, Canada, Brazil and Mexico locations; collaborates with colleagues in Asia and Europe with adoption and implementation.
    • Delivers/facilitates training programs or other learning events with energy and inspiration to engage all audiences. Employs good adult and instructional design principles.
    • Keeps abreast of training and development research: learning theory, motivation theory, and new materials, methods, and techniques.
    • Plays a lead role in conducting a media rich global new hire orientation program and on boarding process for employees and managers.
    • Partners closely with the Training and LMS coordinator to ensure all training logistics are executed with outstanding results (i.e., proactive marketing of training curriculum, accurate enrollment or training evaluations management).
    • Collaborates with eLearning Content Developer to identify creative learning offerings and deploy these offerings using blended learning solutions involving classroom and digital social learning environments.
    • Supports Global Talent Development by partnering with HR & Compliance to ensure annual HR and compliance training needs are met and tracked in LMS.
    • Other duties as assigned by manager and based on changing needs of the organization.

    Qualifications

    • BA/BS Degree required, MA/MS preferred – in Learning & Development/Talent Management or related field.
    • 5 to 7 years’ experience in Corporate Learning & Development (in high tech or bio-tech industry a plus).
    • Proven track record of exceptional facilitation and classroom management skills – for varying group sizes.
    • In depth experience in executing employee and management development training.
    • High learning agility, organizational and business savvy and outstanding collaborator.
    • Experience with Google and MS Suite; advanced proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel.
    • Experience selecting, implementing and gaining adoption for digital learning tools or blended learning environment is a plus.
