We are looking for this a newly created position within our BioPharma Sales Team for a motivated sales person who is looking to take the next step in her/his career and develop her/himself into the BioPharma segment requirements as a:


Key Account Manager Life Science responsible for Biopharma Accounts (m/f)


Home based (Basel-Zurich Area).


Our Responsibilities:

  • Achieve sales targets in allocated territories and with allocated customers
  • Develop and maintain relationships with BioPharma accounts, visiting customers on a regular basis at their accounts and/or at scientific conferences and meetings
  • Execute the sales strategy in alignment with the EMEA marketing team
  • Identify new business and sales opportunities across all Bio-Rad Life Science product lines
  • Facilitate customer queries and work with relevant business partners to ensure customer success, ensuring that all necessary resources needed are used efficiently in order to increase Bio-Rad Life Sicence business
  • Work closely with the local Field Application Specialists and the BioPharma Sales Specialists to ensure the correct support and allocation to key evaluations of sales projects in the region
  • Report to the EMEA BioPharma Sales Manager


Key Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in a life science or related field, Ph.D. preferred
  • 3 -5+ years of proven successful field sales experience in reagents or services to life science and ideally to drug discovery researchers in academic and biotech/pharmaceutical companies 
  • 3 -5+ years of proven successful collaboration with key customer accounts and major research organizations in their region
  • Proficiency in organizing time and territory activities in order to efficiently maximize sales results
  • Ability to increase sales and customer penetration while working with multiple projects under tight deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively across cultures and with diverse functions
  • Excellent German and English language skills. French languageskills will be an added value.

  • Effective communicator at all levels of the organization
