Overview

As part of Order To Cash (OTC) Global ERP team, the SAP-OTC-Order Management resource will champion end to end SAP OTC business process integrations and release management. This position requires excellent knowledge of end to end SAP OTC business processes, integration knowledge of third party systems and SAP using middleware, and process integration knowledge of Logistics Execution (LEX), Plan to Make (PTM), Record to Report (RTR), Procure to Pay (PTP) and Master Data Management (MDM). This position requires excellent people management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide IT leadership and champion end to end Order Management business processes.
  • Manage delivery of Order Management solutions for global roll-out of geographical enhancements and production enhancements.
  • Work closely with OTC team members for process integrations and release management.
  • Manage global templates for Order Management interfaces & integrations.
  • Develop technical roadmaps.
  • Ensure project documentation is current in Sharepoint.
  • Partner with the business process excellence team for prioritization of projects and enhancements.
  • Manage Unit Test and Integration test library in Qmetry and ensure test scripts are current and relevant.
  • Work closely with PSO to develop project timelines.
  • Ensure all projects within area of responsibility are delivered on time.
  • Ensure highest quality of deliverables.
  • Knowledgeable in credit management, billing, revenue recognition, cash application.
  • Develop and monitor KT plan.
  • Manage transports in Active Control and ensure transports are submitted as per release schedule.
  • Monitor data migration plan and ensure data accuracy for converted OTC objects.
  • Manage production incidents and ensure critical business operations are not impacted.
  • Working with the Bio-Rad OTC team leader, subject matter experts and stakeholders globally to:
  • Analyze and document current and future business needs.
  • Ensure future business processes satisfy the intent.
  • Lead the configuration for the business processes.
  • Liaison working cross-functionally with other business teams to ensure business processes operate at their optimum.

Qualifications

This person must:

  • Have demonstrated working with ERP managers and business owners to formulate actionable plans and solutions.
  • Experience with systems implementation and/or process transformation.
  • The candidate must have experience documenting processes “as is” through process maps and SOP’s and have a working knowledge of business process decomposition techniques.
  • The candidate must be able to design processes and sub-processes and to think through the implications of those designs.
  • Understanding how these processes provide Bio-Rad competitive advantages or operational efficiencies is essential.
  • Five (5) or more years direct experience in supporting Order to Cash functions.
  • A high level of knowledge regarding Bio-Rad’s internal processes and stakeholders
  • Sound business and IT acumen
  • Ability to think strategically and converting strategy into tactical execution, is a plus
  • Ability to establish critical relationships throughout the company and to build trust and credibility throughout the organization.
  • Ability to effectively, succinctly, and confidently communicate team decisions to all levels of the organization with the appropriate level of detail (verbal, written, and presentation)
  • A “Project Management” mindset for working in a high paced environment.
  • Previous experience on project teams with a proven ability to work under time constraints while meeting critical milestones
  • Ability to travel on average 30%, including international, with the ability to travel extensively as project needs require.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaborate closely with others to accomplish business objectives.
  • Proven ability to work in ambiguous environments
  • Proven leader that builds and fosters open working team environments
  • Experience with international business processes and relationships a strong plus.
  • Strong preference given to candidates with a strong history configuring APO.
  • Fluency in a second language a strong plus especially Chinese or South Korean.

 

Education:

 

Bachelor’s Degree or commensurate work experience
