Overview

We currently have an excellent opportunity for a dynamic Account Manager to join our Clinical Diagnostics Group (CDG), based in southern NZ (Wellington or any location on South Island).

 

The Account Manager role will cover a territory that mainly includes the southern area of North Island and all of South Island.

 

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager – Southern (Clinical Diagnostics Group), you will be responsible for designing and successfully implementing a sales management plan, exceeding customers' needs and expectations as well as meeting and exceeding sales targets for the CDG business in an established territory.

 

How You’ll Make an Impact: 

  • Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
  • Achieving sales targets and maintaining a growing customer data base
  • Work closely with the Instrument Sales Specialists to help achieve mutually beneficial goals
  • Development and implementation of an effective territory management plan
  • Participation in seminars, demonstrations and presentations to customers
  • Customer problem solving and troubleshooting.
  • Possible growth with additional Channel partner Management responsibility

 

What You Bring:  

  • A minimum of 2 years sales experience in a clinical diagnostics setting and/or the pathology market
  • At least 3 years relevant laboratory experience.
  • A Science or related degree and laboratory experience
  • A passion to provide a high standard of customer service
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • A willingness to regularly travel to regional areas.
