For our site in Cressier FR, we are looking for a Commodity Manager - Immunohematology (m/f/d) - 100%.
In this role, you will provide strategic procurement for our biologic material supply (Monoclonal Antibodies (Mabs), AHG, Red Blood Cell).
It requires an excellent relationship with suppliers, blood bankers, and a good network with transfusion leaders to be able to extend our capacity to cover needs of human based products.
How You'll Make an Impact:
Manage and secure the procurement of human based raw materials (including the supply of RBC (red blood cells) and other rare human based raw materials) for the IHD Division in Cressier (Switzerland) and Dreieich (Germany)
Establish and actively drive an effective procurement strategy, to avoid back order situations
Find new potential suppliers of RBC’s and drive their qualification process
Define short and long supply agreement for RBC’s
Drive price negotiations for RBC agreement and supplies, in respect to annual forecasts
Support IHD development in new markets: specifications of RBC to answer to these new market needs
Establish a cross functional team within Bio-Rad for the strategic procurement of critical materials
Support to ensure other major biologic material supply : monoclonal antibodies, polyclonal reagents
Establish and lead a cross functional bio-bank ( RBC, sera, standards…) to answer to R&D, MED, Manufacturing needs.
What you bring:
Several years of purchasing experience in the field of technically demanding (pharmaceutical/diagnostic) products
High level of commitment and flexibility, interdisciplinary and team-oriented
