We are seeking a Business Analyst who will play a crucial role in collecting and providing data to various departments, including Compliance, IT, and InfoSec, ensuring data accuracy and relevance. This role involves maintaining records of training completions and facilitating the process of ensuring all team members complete required compliance training. The analyst will review and prioritize emails and urgent compliance-related issues, update IT policies and procedures, and attend daily stand-up meetings with the IT team.
How You'll make an impact:
- Data Collection and Provision: Collect and provide data to various departments including Compliance, IT, and InfoSec. Ensure data accuracy and relevance.
- Training Facilitation: Maintain records of training completions and facilitate the process of ensuring all team members complete required compliance training.
- Email and Issue Management: Review and prioritize emails and urgent compliance-related issues to ensure timely responses and resolutions.
- Policy and Procedure Updates: Update IT policies, SOPs, and WDIs to reflect regulatory changes and internal process updates.
- Team Collaboration: Attend daily stand-up meetings with the IT team to stay aligned on ongoing projects and initiatives.
- Compliance Monitoring: Monitor compliance with IT policies and controls, identifying and addressing any deviations.
- Audit Preparation: Provide documentation and evidence for internal and external audits, ensuring all requirements are met.
- Report Generation: Generate and review compliance reports, preparing summary reports for internal customers and senior management to provide insights and updates.
- Cross-Functional Meetings: Participate in meetings with cross-functional teams to discuss compliance initiatives and challenges, fostering collaboration and alignment.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in compliance practices, proposing and implementing enhancements.
- Industry Research: Research industry trends and propose enhancements to existing policies and controls to keep the organization up-to-date with best practices.
- Advanced Data Analysis: Lead the collection and analysis of complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement within processes. Utilize advanced analytical tools and techniques.
- Insight Generation: Generate and present actionable insights from data analysis to inform strategic decision-making and process enhancements. Provide recommendations to senior leadership.
- Performance Metrics: Develop, implement, and refine performance metrics to track the effectiveness of processes and improvements. Provide regular updates to senior management.
- Collaborative Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and ensure analysis aligns with business objectives. Lead collaborative analysis sessions to drive strategic outcomes.
- Enhancing Compliance: Support the implementation and maintenance of compliance frameworks (FedRAMP, ISO 27001, ITGC, SOX) to ensure the organization consistently meets regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Improving Risk Management: Assist in conducting risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities in IT systems and processes. Support the development and execution of effective risk mitigation strategies.
- Driving Process Efficiency: Help create and update detailed SOPs and WDIs that streamline IT operations and improve efficiency. Ensure that these documents are easy to understand and follow.
- Facilitating Audits and Reporting: Assist in preparing for and coordinating internal and external audits, providing thorough documentation and evidence. Generate detailed compliance reports for senior management.
- Fostering a Culture of Compliance: Promote a culture of compliance and continuous improvement, ensuring that all team members are aligned with governance goals and objectives

- Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
