Overview

We currently have an excellent opportunity for a dynamic sales professional to join our Life Sciences team.

 

This Melbourne-based role covers the Western territory of Victoria and is responsible for selling and supporting Bio-Rad’s industry-leading products, including DNA and protein imagers, qPCR instrumentation, our flagship Droplet Digital PCR portfolio, and associated consumables.

 

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager (South), you will design and implement a strategic sales plan, meet and exceed sales targets, and deliver exceptional customer service within an established territory.

 

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Achieve sales targets and grow the customer database
  • Spend at least 75% of your time visiting current and prospective customers
  • Use CRM tools to enhance prospecting and pipeline development
  • Develop and execute an effective territory management plan
  • Participate in seminars, demonstrations, and presentations
  • Provide customer support, problem-solving, and troubleshooting

What You Bring

  • A degree in Life Sciences or a related field (PhD preferred)
  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience in the Life Sciences or related industry
  • At least 2 years of relevant laboratory experience (preferred)
  • A passion for delivering high-quality customer service
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Willingness to travel across regional Victoria and occasionally interstate
