Overview:

 

The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for supporting and drive activities to ensure successfully product transfer/New Product Introduction into manufacturing. Drive manufacturing activities to meet First Pass Yield target, process improvement and product sustaining activities to meet manufacturing production goals. Drive improvement and maintenance / calibration on testing fixtures and equipment. Manage manufacturing process validation, engineering change, perform pFMEA, risk assessment and fixture GR&R study and etc.

 

 

How you’ll make an impact:

 

  • Build instruments and prepare verification plate for manufacturing testing to meet production build plan, schedule and shipment requirement.
  • Ensure all necessary quality records are updated and publish daily production status report timely.
  • Manage/maintain inventory and timely disposing of the Non-Conformance material.
  • Product Transfer – New or existing products from another site. Production Line Set Up and manage manufacturing process, manufacturing testing /QC testing.
  • Achieving Manufacturing First Pass Test Yield targets. Perform Failure Analysis, implement corrective and/or preventive measures and review customer disposition.
  • Establish and maintain Procedures. Working instructions, Training and Documents. Manage Preventive Maintenance / Calibration.
  • Manage Engineering Changes, Perform Process Validation and Qualification.

 

What you Bring: 

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical)
  • Knowledge in ISO 9001/13485 requirements, risk management, pFEMA, Lean Manufacturing, 6 Sigma, 5S.
  • Possesses excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
  • Organization, planning and time management skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge with hands-on experience in preparing reagents in microplates for PCR testing, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with laboratory protocols. This includes understanding liquid handling systems, reagent stability, and contamination control.
  • Good understanding of mechanical drawings, GD&T, ability to analyze tolerances, identify critical dimensions, and ensure design intent is accurately translated into manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent command in both oral/written English is a prerequisite for this position, given the nature of our internal and external communications.
