    Bio-Rad is looking for a Controller III to support our Global Commercial Operations Group. This position reports to the Director, Finance for the Global Commercial Operations (GCO) group.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide financial business support to the Americas GCO organization by providing strategic and tactical support.
    • Act as primary finance business partner to the SVP, Americas GCO.
    • Provide analysis to the America GCO management team and help drive optimal, informed business decisions.
    • Manage budget and forecast cycles, along with management reporting and variance analysis.
    • Review deal structuring and analyze transactions to mitigate revenue recognition risk.
    • Manage contract negotiation, profitability, and compliance.
    • Participate in setting sales force comp plans and administer plans and payments.
    • Reinforce internal controls, emphasizing training and communication of revenue recognition policies.
    • Liaise with accounting shared services and internal audit teams to ensure accuracy of Americas' financial submission and effectiveness of internal controls.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor Degree or equivalent with a preferred major in accounting. MBA and/or CPA preferred.
    • 10+ years' experience in accounting, working in a mid to large size, multi-divisional accounting environment.
    • Experience working with internal and external auditors in a corporate accounting environment and/or as an auditor in a national CPA firm.
    • Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills for interacting with business partners and senior management.
    • Strong knowledge of internal controls and US GAAP accounting required.
    • SAP and PBCS knowledge and experience preferred.
    • Strong analytical and problem solving background.
    • Strong process and project management skills.
    • Experience and skill in designing, managing, and developing high performing teams.
