Supervision of a staff of 8 employees working the second shift, responsible for Finished Product testing and release of products. Works on issues of moderate scope where analysis of situatin or data requires a review of identifiable factors.
Supervision of QC second shift (Mon - Fri 3:30 p.m. -- 11:30 p.m.). Testing support to all our internal customers, assigning of work to PM shift staff and assuring that all the test are performed with accuracy and in a timely manner. Resolution of al technical issues related to automated and manual testing. setting goals for direct reports and conducting their annual reviews.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field. Master's degree preferred.
2+ years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Laboratory Instrumentation and troubleshooting, experience in a hospital, reference lab or in-vitro diagnostic manufacturing environment.
Supervisory experience preferred.
Knowledge in the use of LIMS and SAP.
Excellent multitasking and organizational skills required.
Ability to communicate technical issues, leadership ability and ability to manage multiple priorities.
