    Bio-Rad is looking for a Molecular Diagnostics Regional Sales Specialist to support its West Coast Regional Operations.

    Responsibilities

    • Drive awareness and revenue growth of ddPCR and related Bio-Rad products in molecular diagnostic accounts.
    • Partner with marketing to articulate and propagate value propositions in existing (focus: oncology) and emerging clinical applications.
    • Partner with marketing to develop molecular diagnostic customer contacts and segmentation.
    • Partner with sales peers to synergistically drive lead generation, lead sharing, call facilitation and sales opportunity development activities.
    • Develop strong relationships with key influencers spanning lab manager, healthcare network manager and physician KOLs.
    • Demonstrate strong understanding of value chain in molecular diagnostics, regulatory environment and test/CPT code reimbursement dynamics.

    Qualifications

    • BS in Life Sciences Required. MS or PhD Preferred.
    • 75% Travel Required. Position is open to candidates living near major metropolitan airports.
    • 5+ years’ experience selling into the life sciences or clinical diagnostics market with an emphasis in molecular diagnostics.
    • Proven track record establishing and maintaining scientific collaborative relationships with key opinion and thought leaders within the molecular diagnostic space.
    • Strong understanding/experience of genomics technologies, including PCR and qPCR; digital PCR and NGS experience are favorable.
    • Maintain and share accurate records of interactions to yield informative intelligence and materials to update field strategies and tactics
    • Consistent success of selling into the molecular diagnostic market with the ability to interact with personnel at all levels and departments.
    • Strong interpersonal, teamwork, organizational and workload planning skills.
    • Proficient use of Microsoft applications, i.e. PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
    • Able to communicate technical concepts both verbally and written with clarity and accuracy.
