  • Overview

    Position is responsible for opening, tracking, organizing/managing (as directed), and closing/checking all CDG MarCom projects. Position will also be responsible for ad placements, ordering and all vendor coordination and payment activities. Will assist both the web and design team with various production related tasks including bio-rad.com updates (HTML knowledge required). Successful candidate will self-directed and able to work with a minimum of supervision.

    Responsibilities

    • Assists project team members in planning, analyzing, and delivering on assigned projects.
    • Determines customer and internal business needs with guidance from manager and marketing staff resources.
    • Manages relationships with external sources relating to design issues.
    • Coordinates domestic and/or international tradeshow activities.
    • Maintains Marketing and Sales databases.
    • Develops proposal vendor production schedule.
    • Contributes to strategy development for marketing communications.
    • Assists in establishing and maintaining key contacts with industry trade press and allied groups by disseminating information via press packets, trade shows, and personal contact.
    • Prepares materials for internal and external presentations on products, business plans and management communications.
    • May serve as editor for formal business communications.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Computer Science, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
    • 2+ years applicable industry advertising, project management, web content management and/or marketing experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Working knowledge of SAP application. Able to create PRs and other administrative functions.
    • Computer, written and verbal communication, text editing and project management skills required.
    • Able to place advertising and manage ad calendar.
    • Graphic design, web editing and HTML skills desired.
