  • Overview

    Responsible for warehousing and quality inspection functions in Receiving warehouse including managing day to day activities, setting priorities, and leading the team.  Warehousing tasks include, but not limited to receiving, putting away, storing, staging, picking, cycle counting, and inventory control. Inspection tasks include but not limited to incoming material inspection, generation of Certificate of compliance/analysis, generation of quality notifications (PER and QN). Perform transactions in per procedure and in SAP (WM and EWM) and operates warehouse and production equipments. Maintains records to comply with GMP and other regulatory requirements. Some tasks require high degree of initiative and collaboration with cross functional departments to resolve problems and develop recommendations. Supervises, coaches, develops, trains, and discipline employees. Flex and rotate employees in other warehouses and departments when necessary to support business needs. Participate and support all applicable regulations requirements including internal and external audits.

    Responsibilities

    • Perform and have complete understanding of Receiving warehouse and inspection functions, processes, procedures, and equipment to support the business.
    • Monitor, maintain, and enforce process control.
    • Plan, schedule and set employee work schedules and modify as required. Responsible for overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the team.
    • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
    • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training, monitoring, motivating, developing, and disciplining staff as required. Writing and delivering goals, mid year and annual performances. Addressing complaints and resolving problems.
    • Recommend and implement improvements to streamline processes and enhance efficiencies.
    • Review and revise work desk instruction or standard operating procedures as applicable. Able to recognize deficienies and create new documents as necessary.
    • Interact and collaborate with cross functional departments such as Purchasing, Regulatory, Quality Engineer, and Production.
    • Responsible to adhere and perform tasks in accordance to applicable EH&S, Quality, and Regulatory policies and requirements.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Previous supervisory or lead  experiences preferred
    • Previous experience with SAP or similar ERP/MRP system
    • Experience in warehouse and related production activities and equipments
    • Computer (excel, word, vizio etc), math, problem solving,  and communication (written and verbal) skills
    • Ability to maintain long periods of standing, walking, lifting, bending and reaching
    • May be required to work in the cold box as required
    • Lift up to 50 lbs.
