  • Overview

    The Shipper Receiver Associate II will perform an array of functions that may include picking and packing orders, receiving and shipping incoming stock and materials, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse, and inventory management.

    Responsibilities

    • Prepares orders by pulling materials, packing boxes, and placing orders in staging or delivery areas (Refrigerator or Freezer)
    • Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards
    • Maintains inventory controls by assisting in cycle counts or physical inventories
    • Prepare bulk shipments
    • Maintains a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat
    • Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times
    • Wear the proper personal protective equipment

    Qualifications

    Education:

    • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent

    Experience:

    • 1-2 years related experience 
    • Material handler experience in a warehouse preferred
    • SAP experience preferred

    Skills:

    • Good communication, organizational, time management, and mathematical skills
    • Dependable and reliable
    • Basic knowledge of computers
    • Ability to regularly lift and/or move objects up to 50 lbs.; occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 75lbs.
    • Frequently required to stand, walk, kneel, crouch or crawl
    • Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance
    • Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus
    • Ability to work in a refrigerator or freezer environment
