    We currently have an excellent opportunity for a dynamic sales professional to join our Sydney based Life Sciences team. Reporting to the Northern Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the sale of strategic capital equipment within the Life Science Division with a focus on our Molecular portfolio. 

    Although Sydney based, applicants based in other eastern seaboard capital cities would be considered and are encouraged to apply.

    You will be responsible for designing and successfully implementing a sales management plan, exceeding customers needs and expectations as well as meeting and exceeding sales targets in an established territory.

    Responsibilities include: 

    • Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
    • Achieving sales targets and maintaining a growing customer data base
    • Work closely with the Core sales representatives to help achieve mutually beneficial goals
    • Development and implementation of an effective territory management plan 
    • Participation in seminars, demonstrations and presentations to customers
    • Customer problem solving and troubleshooting.

    To be successful in this position you will require:

    • A minimum of 5 years sales experience preferably in the Life Science market, experience in Capital equipment sales essential
    • A Life Science or related degree and Minimum 3 years laboratory experience with a focus on current molecular techniques that include PCR, qPCR and Digital PCR
    • A passion to pro actively provide a high standard of customer service
    • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills 
    • Excellent negotiating and computer skills
    • Excellent and diligent CRM data management and record keeping
