    Bio-Rad is looking for an Accounting Manager.


    • This role is responsible for working collaboratively with multiple groups within the Shared Services Centers in developing and sustaining business practices and/or procedures for the RTR process stream in the Global Finance Shared Services Organization.
    • This individual will also work with key financial and operations business partners to further optimize/enable business practices through the existing ERP ensuring all intercompany, treasury and other related accounting transactions are captured and reported accurately and timely in the company's financial statements in accordance to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
    • Manage the daily activities in the intercompany and treasury team; ensure that the accounting transactions and account reconciliations are processed and completed timely including intercompany processing & elimination, cash & investments, FX contracts settlements/MtM revaluation, and other treasury and other accounting activities for multiple legal entities.
    • Participate in financial statement close cycle; provide audit support to external/internal audit teams timely; review of monthly financial package and quarterly deliverables; preparation of monthly KPI metrics and other analyses that allow for continuous monitoring of volume of manual journal entries and intercompany differences.
    • Actively working with the RTR Process Owner to assess resources needs, ensuring timely replacement of open positions with competent staff, and developing of effective training and successions plans.


    • Bachelor's Degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field.
    • CPA and/or MBA preferred.
    • 8+ years of progressive experience with at least 5 years dealing with processes and data related to transactional processing.
    • Intercompany/Treasury experience highly desired.
    • Two or more years of supervisory experience required. Large ERP systems experience: SAP, AX, Oracle or JD Edwards.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
    • Strong interpersonal, communication skills for interacting with individual team contributors, business partners and management.
    • Strong knowledge of internal controls and US GAAP accounting required.
    • Strong analytical and problem solving background.
