    We have a need for a Procurement Supervisor to help lead the team that manages OEM suppliers of resale goods. This position will collaborate with Sales and Marketing, Commodity management and other cross functional teams. You will be responsible for minimizing back orders, optimizing inventory, managing supplier relationships, and mentoring a team of procurement professionals.

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee Supplier relationship management.
    • Track department performance metrics (back orders, Inventory levels, PPV, etc.).
    • Supervise Procurement Specialist activities and assignments.
    • Support sourcing for new product introductions.
    • Collaborate with Supplier Quality department.
    • Support team with order placement, periodic business reviews and developing commodity strategies.
    • Develop procurement strategies that help achieve Global Supply Chain goals that are in alignment with Global Commodity Strategies.
    • Implement Global strategies at Regional level to increase supplier performance, capability development, capacity management, and cost/quality improvements for supply chain vendors.
    • Manage escalated supplier reviews and delivers supplier performance and metrics to upper level management.
    • Develops supply chain risks mitigation plans.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Procurement or Supply Chain Management, or related discipline.
    • 8+ years’ experience in Procurement with at least 2 years in Supply Assurance Buying and 2 years in Demand Buying, Materials Management or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Experience sourcing vendors and negotiating vendor contracts.
    • CPM and/or CPIM certification is preferred.
    • Full knowledge and application of the principles and theories of procurement and supply chain.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office (Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint).
    • Strong oral and written communication, confident negotiator, and strong multitasking and organizational skills.
    • Ability to Influence, engage and advise various stakeholders across the business (from senior executives down).
    • Good change management skills.
